  • Sorry for the delay in answering but life got in the way of having fun. I have my lines on the finger set up, so when i come in alone i get on the swim platform and can reach the stern line and secure and then I feel confident getting off the 41 and securing the other lines. (Never get off the 41 without one Line secured, that is what I tell all my passengers). I also set up my lines with different colors. I have a white with black stripes to grab the center cleat, so if someone is either on the finger or on the 41 that is not a boater I can just tell them which line to put on first. Red for for the bow and spring. i leave the finger between 45 to 80 times season and it works out most of the time. Just remember the wind is your friend and no harm in using the pole to guide you in. Hate to use a Blow boaters Saying but "you can't change the direction of the wind only adjust your sails".
Botjem, I just read in thread you take your 41PC out by yourself. I?m just about ready to try it. My fear is getting back in the slip alone. I can get it in the slip but it?s getting the lines tied up, especially the bow lines that have me freaked out.
