Trim Ring LED Lights Cockpit Stuck - any magic ?

Morning...

So I have 4 of these lights in the cockpit, trying to remove the panel to fix a leak. Three of the trim rings simply twist off as we all know....however the last one seems to be FUSED in place.

It is simply stuck and will not twist...it looks like it might have been installed a bit too tight against the vinyl....which of course I would rather not destroy as well.

What have you all done to get an stuck light out...of course if I destroy the ring I could put a large set of vice grips, etc. on it, but I would like to try and save it.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I used white vinegar a few days ago to free-up a corroded zipper on the camper top.. maybe try it on the light housing

Ok, and just so I understand....I assume you mean try to SQUEEZE it up under the lip of the vinyl and metal ring....super tight, but I can try if that is what you mean. Thanks for the Tip!
