I have Mercs 6.2 with Bravo III. When accelerating to go up on plane my engine rpm increases but the speed does not and I begin to hear a rumbling sound. Any ideas? It's only my second time out this season. Has the drives pulled this winter for servicing.

When the boat is moving I change the orientation to heads up but the orientation does not change from North up. No matter what I change it does not change from North up. I am getting a GPS signal so the unit is aware the boat is moving. Anyone experience this?

Hi All, Sorry should read Lewmar Windlass. Thanks autocorrect. Windlass does not respond to down foot pedal at bow or down button at helm. Will only go up. I've read that the solenoid may be bad for the down contacts. Any idea if my boat has the solenoid and if so, where it is located. Thanks!
