Just purchased a used 2008 Formula 45 Yacht. I need to replace the skins on the pilot seats and the bench just port of them. Ordered the new skins from Formula. Should have them in a week or two. Can you help with how to remove those seats so I can deliver them to the upholstery shop?
Hi, I'm Big Rob and wanted to open a conversation for the boat. I have a 1979 formula 255 LS. I have all the original paper work and can be a resource or friend trying to figure out the same issues you might have. Mine is a Liberator sport and was powered with dual 260 mercruisers that now have 540 hours on them. I went through her end to end in 2012.
Newer 1992 34 PC owner, 7.4's with Bravo II's, been doing some maint. and repairs..any idea how I can get the full build sheet on my boat, so I have to stop guessing at parts??
Does anyone know who reupholsters formula seats and someone to make a new cockpit cover. Thank u
I have a 1999 Formula 34PC and want to replace all of the port hole screens. Anyone know where to buy replacement screens?

I was able to get full kits from Formula but they are silly expensive. Like $100 for the kit including screens. I only of course used the screens. Difficult to find screens alone.

What did the full kit include? Did you remove the existing rubber gasket? I'm afraid to dig the gasket out. I have a 2004 37PC and need to replace most of my port light screens.

The irony is I paid $100 bucks for the screen and rubber gasket because I needed the screens and not the gaskets.

I ended up just getting the screen to slip into the old gaskets, easy job. I could not find the screens otherwise.
Hi Brian, did you ever find the access to the port and stbd fuel senders? I have a 1999 41PC and my fuel level readings seem to be way off. I want to replace both senders. What senders did you purchase and how difficult was the installation? Thanks
Hi Comodave, will you shoot me some pics of your SeaDeck that covers your stress cracks? I have a 99 41PC with some stress cracks. Thanks
Sorry for the delay in answering but life got in the way of having fun. I have my lines on the finger set up, so when i come in alone i get on the swim platform and can reach the stern line and secure and then I feel confident getting off the 41 and securing the other lines. (Never get off the 41 without one Line secured, that is what I tell all my passengers). I also set up my lines with different colors. I have a white with black stripes to grab the center cleat, so if someone is either on the finger or on the 41 that is not a boater I can just tell them which line to put on first. Red for for the bow and spring. i leave the finger between 45 to 80 times season and it works out most of the time. Just remember the wind is your friend and no harm in using the pole to guide you in. Hate to use a Blow boaters Saying but "you can't change the direction of the wind only adjust your sails".
Botjem, I just read in thread you take your 41PC out by yourself. I?m just about ready to try it. My fear is getting back in the slip alone. I can get it in the slip but it?s getting the lines tied up, especially the bow lines that have me freaked out.
Hi Comodave, I have a 41PC that is about due for an upholstery update. I didn?t know you could get skins from Formula. Who did you talk to at Formula about the skins? Sounds like the Formula skins are very expensive. You decided to use a local guy instead? Are you in the Chesapeake Bay area?
Apologies - I just now saw this message. I typically cruise the PC owners section and just respond to those questions. Guess I'll have to look for messages now too...

I'm sure you've figured out by now that the 3 batteries on the port are the house bank, and the 2 on the starboard are the starting batteries for the motors. And one more in the back for the generator.
Hi,

I am interested in in adding an Atlantic hard top on my 41PC. Just wandering what the cost was?
Thank for you help.
