Have a new Highfield RIB with a 67 in. beam and 10' 5" with 9.8 hp. Am looking at the Trick Davit or the Dinghy Ramp which are both slide on with the motor systems. About 900.00. Does anyone have any experience with either? I want to keep the motor on and not flip it up like Weaver davits.

Anyone know how to remove tarnish on the chrome letters ? Rubbing compound does not seem to fix it.

The manual says to oil the compressor once a year. I was told it is behind the breaker panel at the right ankle at the helm. I took it off but dont see any compressor. On my 330 SS it was on the port side behind the settee seat. Looks like a pop can. Any body seen it on the 31 ?

The air horn stopped woking after storage. It is 8 years old so may be time check it. The diagram shows the compressor on the port side. Does anybody know if it is behind the panel in the closet with the 8 screws holding it in? The compressor seems to make noise but no sound. Any ideas? Gary

Does anybody have trouble holding their boat in light wind and chop with the factory Formula SS Anchor? Is the Anchor too small for an 11,000 pound boat or am I not putting out enough scope ? It is 75 ft. of chain on a Lewmar windlass. I put out 35 ft and it still drags it in a sand bottom. Gary

It is getting that time to haul out and we put on about 35 hours this year for a total of 615 hours on the boat all in Lake Michigan. Does everybody pull their drives off each year to get at greasing the gears when winterizing? The manual says every 100 hrs or annually whichever comes first.

I jumped over the side to check the bottom and noticed the port drive has little lateral play - about an inch. The starboard has about two inches. Can the mechanic tighten the starboard up so they have both the same amount of movement? Do any of yours have some movement like this? GAry

Has anybody had trouble calling out or receive on the VHF when the fridge is on AC or DC. Seems to interfere with the FM radio also. GAry
