My stock bravo one mercruiser 7.4 stern drive is leaking gear old from the tank into the bilge. Can't figure out how it's doing it. Don't see any leaks in the back of the motor. Can anyone help ??? I fill the tank, go for a 2 hour ride, come back still full, come back 3 days later tank is empty...
Bought a 242 ss recently, can anyone help me determine where the seacocks are located (in case of an emergency) and where the fresh water tank fill is located? Thanks
Starts and idles great, runs great till U open it up, then bogs down, replaced the fuel water separator and fuel pump, accelerator pump in carb squirts, choke is working, what should I do next? Rebuild carb? Thank You
Just bought a Formula 242ss bravo 1 454 , Just wanted to introduce myself. I plan on keeping it in Newburyport, and a couple a times this summer on Lake Winnie. I have seen a few Formulas buzzing around Newburyport. Anyone know where I can get some matching vinyl to redo the back seat? Lenny
Just bought this bought, it was not used for 2 years, took it out for a test ride today and the stern drive won't go down. Fluid was full, I could here the pump come on, but it would not go down. I did not see any leaks. Any ideas what is wrong? My friend suggested to take it out and open it up...
