At the end of last year I got a 96 280SS with 5.7 Merc and Bravo 3s. The boat runs great as far as I can tell. The only thing I have been questioning is the top speed. The prop pitch is 26 and my understanding is that the boat is all stock but we are only turning about 4300 rpms and maybe 44...
