03' 260BR - Bilge/float switch issue

Hi all, I have a new to me 03' 260BR. I'm trying to fix a bilge pump/float switch issue. The Bilge pump comes on with the dash switch, but not automatically with the float switch. Manually testing the float switch does nothing. I plan to change it out. I also have a forward bilge area in the forward floor locker. I thought there was a bilge pump there, but it is only a float switch which also does not work. I'm assuming this is supposed to be connected to the rear bilge pump somehow. Do others have this set up? Are the 2 float switches connected together to the rear pump? There is a drain hoses with a plug in the forward floor locker that leads to the rear bilge. I'm assuming this should be left unplugged? Any insight is much appreciated.

Not sure of your setup, but try holding the float switch up for a few seconds. Formula uses a high water alarm with a time delay. They use the same brand float switches for both the bilge pump and the alarm.

Thanks Gsent, I did try holding holding the float switch up, but will try again for a little longer. I had not thought about an alarm being wired in too.
