2001 330SS Full Curtains and Bimini questions

New to us 2001 wit full curtain set. We got the set installed but have a mystery leftover piece, plus not sure on storage.

1) What is the piece shown in the photo for?

2) When storing, the Bimini cover has a pouch for the rear extension pole. There are two D rings sewn on to the outside of the cover, and there are the straps used for the extension pole. I?ve been wrapping the straps around the cover and latching to the D rings, but it doesn?t look right. Where do you store the straps, and what are the D rings for?

Just throwing out possibilities, perhaps a "boot" if you are using the just the front bimini, zipper the center 2 piece zipper to the rear of the front bimini and then secure the full length zipper around the extension bow that is used only for the camper bimini???? That would be amazing as we can't figure out how to secure it other than having to use the rear bimini all the time. We did the same with the straps, looks a little cheap but easier than removing the straps each time.

I have the same mystery piece. I purchased through Airtext and thought I was buying a rear bimini boot. There was no prior purchase picture and Airtex only has the pattern with no description on where it goes. I gave up on it.

It?s definitely for rapping around a bar between two pieces. My set has these connecting the main Bimini to rear Bimini although this seems too narrow to be beam width of top.

I think it holds the rear camper support bar up when you don't have the camper top vinyl installed. These open ended threads with no clear answer are bugging me, lol. I need closure.
