The weather looks awesome - Highs in the upper 70's, lows in the upper 50's; slight chance of showers Friday night, but otherwise sunny all weekend.

Even if you haven't signed up, but can make it there, please feel free to stop by. If you have any problems finding us, call "Formula raftup" on VHF 68.

See you there!

We had eight Formulas and two guest boats for the Saturday overnight. Thanks to all who attended!

5' by 9' movie screen made out of PVC pipe and anchored in the sand bar. The movies Saturday night were "Captain Ron" and Ron White's "You can't fix stupid". We used an FM transmitter for the audio, so everyone could listen over their own boat's stereo system. This is the second year that we've done this.

Oh, that's very cool!

There are quite a few on Formula Boats Facebook page. I'll post some here as well.

Well thats a first for me ... a boat drive-in movie theater. What is even better is you don't even have to swim to the snack bar you have it right with you :D :D :D

Fantastic idea. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a blast. Where does the little speaker hang? LOL

Someone said they used an FM transmitter so everyone could just tune in their boats to the right frequency and listen on their own systems.

Yep. I have the older Gold version. There is a newer version out, as well as one that snaps on to an iPhone 4 or 4S. Good stuff.
