should this be under 'rendezvous'? i knew i saw it somewhere, but almost couldn't find it. ;)

any more details? are you doing this for 3 days, or just for Saturday? anyone staying at Mears Great Oak?

I'll confirm next week, but I think we're in.

I also sent an email to Ray, so I'll let you know if I get anything back. Right now we're booked to stay at Mears Great Oak on Friday so that we can shoot up on Saturday. Hope it's still happening, would love to meet everybody.

just got an email from Ray...looks like the flyer from the website i posted above has all of the details for now. also looks like Formula is sending some goodies, so it's probably a good idea to register. i asked how many are coming and if anyone else is staying at mears...will let you know. Ray did say that he's advising everyone to come early.

slight update...got another email from Ray and he says 10-12 boats are expected on Saturday! some are staying on the hook, but he doesn't know if anyone is staying at the local marinas. weekend looks like beautiful weather, so hopefully some of you guys can make it!

one more update from Ray. i asked about getting into Still Pond and he sent the following:

  • once you pass the last day marker you'll make the dog-leg left into the narrow channel.
  • Its important to stay far to your starboard, passing only 3' off the small public dock.
  • The deep water will continue on your starboard.
  • Next you'll enter into Still Pond via a hard right where the deep water continues on your starboard
  • After the hard right you'll pass a few private docks, stay to your starboard.
  • You'll see us to your port and we'll be on 68.You'll be in good hands.

Any pics from this years event?

I plan on overhauling my trailer this winter/spring. Plan is to make it a little more reliable so I can venture to a few new local NE places to test the waters. Thus might be on the agenda for next season.
 
I have a few. Shafers for lunch in the C&D, heading into Baltimore, ready to dock at Ego Alley in Annapolis and Chesapeake Inn in the C&D, having a cigar relaxing in South Jersey Marina in Cape May, NJ

Hi All,

Will there be something similar in 2014?? I will be travelling this this area end of June early July on my way down to Palm Springs.

I would love to get a bunch of us together. Lets here from anyone interested and we can try to put some dates out there. Usually end of July, early August works for us.
 
How about Bodkin Creek area? Close to the Bay, Baltimore, Annapolis and Cheshire Crab Dock Resturaunt. The water is good for swimming too.
 
We are thinking mid August. Who else is interested? Too bad we can't change the topic to 2014 Chesapeake trip. I was chatting with the owners of Great Mear Oaks in Fairlee Creek and they will offer a discount if we can get some Formulas together.

Gonna try to make it...willn't know for sure till midweek cuz will be in up state NY but I'm really gonna try to getvthete this year...Chesapeake did that last weekend...had a blast left from Salem road down to Rock Hill MD for Pirate weekend... Awesome time...130 miles on the water and it was quite a trip... 1.8 hrs not to shabby each way!
