I am repowering a 1974 233 hardtop with a 454/385 bravo . I was wondering if anyone know if or how high I can raise the x dimension ? Murray
 
Your into the area where there is only a small number which knows how to do it properly. Someone on this site may know, but you would have a better chance at finding the answer on Off Shore Only site. Folks on OSO do changes like this often.
 
Yes and am getting some good info there. I would love to hear from someone that has tried raising the x dimension though.
