280 SS Speedo Dead

Hi all. I have a 2000 280SS with Merc MPI / Bravo 3. I recently hauled out and did a bunch of routine stuff. When I put her back in the water, the speedo is not working. I had my diver clean out the port on the drive, which he said is not obstructed. Any next steps? I have good GPS Speed so don't really need it but it bugs me to see that needle sitting at ZERO.

Your diver either need a longer drill bit to clean the hose, or the rubber hose has broken off
