41 PC Davit weight limit?

Does any one know what the weight limit is on a Hydraulic Davit Boom for a 41 PC ???? I have looked through all my info and can't find anything here. It is a factory option that came with the boat in 2002.
 
My rep called me back looks like it is 500lbs. Give or take I liked your 800 a lot better. Pete did say he had some out there lifting more just made a difference wether it had the power side to side action. Anyway thanks GSENT

I'M SURPRISED. THE SMALLEST TWO SEATER WEIGHS 600 LBS. WHAT GOOD WOULD A LIFT DO IF IT CANNOT DO THE JOB? I REMEMBER INQUIRING A FEW YEARS AGO, AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD LIFT TWO SEATERS, BUT NOT THE 900 TO 1000 LB. THREE SEATERS.
 
Your right, but they won't rate it to high. My rep said it was designed when the PWC was a lot smaller unit. I personally think it will lift a lot more, I guess you just use it when you can't get out of the water and have your wife hoist you up LOL.
 
Mine didn't come with the lift, and when I asked about getting one put in they said they don't have any parts availability and couldn't install the original. Then they said the capacity was 500lbs and at this point that seemed on the light side. I also have come to realize if I installed an original unit I would have to move my electrical hook ups, so the thought is a thing of the past.

If your wanting a lift for your boat I would get a hold of TNT and have a platform put on. We have had it done to a 41 PC here and it was very nice. Also just did one on the Silverton that I use. I love it and it gives you a lot more room on the back of your boat for a three seater.
