Analog gauges....

Soooo, I am considering redoing my gauge panels on my 02 330. If i remove my tachs and my spedo can i just leave the harness behind the panel or do they need to be hooked up for proper operation..? Ive gone to the vessel view mobile and run all my gauges off a 10inch tablet...

Shouldn't do any harm or cause anything to operate improperly. I would suggest taping the connectors off just to make sure they do not come in contact with 12V+ an cause a short.

Other than knowing they are back there, there is no harm that I can think of.
I would zip tie them to something so they do not flop around.
