Boat Waxing and Imron

I am planning on waxing my boat and wanter to know if you guys would use a random orbital polisher to apply it on the Imron or better by hand? I have a 10" polisher that I am thinking of using to apply the wax, buff, and polish.
 
LBI4fun, I have polished both gel coat and imron with a RANDOM ORBIT BUFFER and had great results. Always check the bonnet to make sure it isn't dry or caked up with excess material. If so rinse it in warm water. While using a power buffer NEVER stop moving while the pad is touching the paint. Always lift the buffer slightly ,then release the power switch Enjoy, ERIK ;D
 
I USE A PORTER CABLE 6 INCH POLISHER TO APPLY WAX, AND REMOVE IT WITH AN 11 INCH ORBITAL POLISHER FROM SEARS. WORKS GREAT. YOU HAVE NO WORRIES USING AN ORBITAL ON PAINT OR GELCOAT. YOU CANNOT GET ENOUGH HEAT OUT OF AN ORBITAL TO CAUSE DAMAGE.

;D ;D Why bother. BEEEEAAAUUUTTTIIIIFFUUUULLLL  Friday here 76* and Saturday sunny , calm and 68*.
And I was outside in the driveway urethaning bedroom doors :(.
Too early to slit the shrinkwrap anyway. Got snow in the seen day forcast :'(
But on a brighter note , I waxed mine before I wrapped it up last fall ;D
