c70 update

Anyone done the software update for the c-series, I finally got mine hooked and downloaded the update to a compact flash card, but cant the gps to read the card. Anyone else had a problem with the CF cards or know a trick?
 
Make sure you use a Sandisk 16mb flash card or smaller. The C70 and C80 can only read a FAT16 file system format on the flash card. If you cannot find a smaller card buy the smallest you can find and reformat it with the FAT16 file system format(you can do this through windows if you have a Sans-disk flash card reader on your PC). You can then copy the software upgrade onto it and update your C70. One side note: On the instructions it says it will auto-reboot after the update. Mine didn't I manually had to shut it off and on. Remember to pull the chip after you turn it off and before you turn it back on. ;) ;) Good luck and let me know how it went. ;D ;D
