Engine hatch lift picture 242

Curious if anyone has any pictures of the underside of the engine hatch on a single 242 LS model. I have a feeling mine isn't connected right or missing a clip of some sort but I have no reference. When up, it kind of sags in the side without the ram. Also I need to manually lift the hatch and the ram will take over once the bar "rotates" into position against the hatch.

CW, is this what you are looking for? I have pics of just about every area of the boat if you have other questions on yours. I know you are also possibly thinking about future ST platform work/replacement. I have pics of my platform and the damage to my transom if wanted for your info. Awesome, thank you! That's exactly what I need. Going to mess around with it this weekend since it'll be in the 60's and I actually have some free time. I'm pretty sure the bracket on the left side is missing to hold the tube to the back of the hatch but this will let me confirm.

Appreciate the offer for pictures and future help, will definitely let you know if I need anything!

Sound good, my hatch did sit off level as well (hard not to when lift actuator and bar is not center like twin engine ones) but I was able to get it closer with some rubber bumpers as shims to even it out. They have done the job through 3 seasons now.

I saw in another forum you may be looking into the rub rail for possible replacement. Let me know if you do look into it and find something that looks/works well. Mine is the original too and could be a future project to take care of.

Got some pictures of it. Looks like it's all there. Seems though like it's missing a bracket in the top left to keep the bar from sliding over or over rotating when all the way closed.
