Fishing network cable from cockpit to salon

I'm planning to fish a Cat5e Ethernet cable from the cockpit into the salon. Does anyone know whether the pictured a/c grille panel can be removed, and how? It's the aft panel in the starboard cabinetry in the salon.

Thanks,
Steve

Suggestion today from TAG - If I recall correctly the best route is to remove the overhead panel the speaker is mounted on. Next remove the A/C control and use a fish tape from the top down. The vent piece I believe is double sticky tape in to place and can be difficult to remove. I would suggest using a stiff putty knife.

I'll try these ideas and report out.

I have wifi on the boat.
This is for 2 things --
  • security camera base unit connects on its own wifi net to the cameras but wants to be hard-wired via Ethernet to the router
  • I need to replace a failed sonar sensor and the cables run through the same chase

cool beans. I have 12 wired cameras around my house now, but now that the wyze v3 is out, I'm working on replacing them with these instead. So much easier to setup motion alerts.

Thinking about mounting a v3 at our marina on a solar powered setup on top of a pylon.

Working in the IT field, we have tech covered ;) When we retire and live-aboard I already have a system planned out. but I'm sure the tech will change a lot in 10-20 years.

I installed an Arlo wireless home camera system on the boat. One of the cams I installed on the dock using gopro type bicycle handlebar mounting system so it is easy to move from the dock to the boat. At the dock, it allows me to check on the situation at the dock during heavy weather. When departing home slip, I move the camera to the boat. This allows me to monitor for intruders when I am away from the boat (e.g., having dinner in a local restaurant). The two mounts are shown in pics below.

Security camera - Camera mounted on dock. Security camera - Mounted on boat. Security cams - View of marina while visiting. Security camera - View from dock in home slip.
