Help! Tried everything we can think of, completely out of ideas.
I have 2004 27 PC with a Kohler 5E generator. The generator starts and runs great when started at the generator. However, when attempting to start the generator from the Remote Switch I get zippy, not even a click. Blower works remotely, just not the starter.
Couple of things:
1. My generator does not have any code indicators on it, like I see mentioned in other threads.
2. My generator does not appear to have an "Auto" switch on it, that I've seen mentioned in other threads. Or if it does, I'm at a complete loss as to where it's located. I've searched everywhere on the generator fro anything that resembles a switch.
3. All three in-line fuses are demonstrating continuity and visually appear to be intact.
4. Not sure if it's an issue or coincidence, but this problem started around the same time I installed a new generator battery.
Any suggestions?
