My high water alarm started going off the other day and won’t stop. Bilges are dry. Does anyone know here the float switch is for the high water alarm?

Don't know exactly but normally it's just another float switch in the bilge but mounted higher

I believe both switches are located at the bilge pump. Check your aft cabin bilge. I believe you need to access it through the storage area under the seat.

I have a float switch within the aft cabin area below one of the rear most seats that has the high water float switch.

You should have two sets of bilge pumps and float switches. Atleast I do in my 34 PC

1) Bilge pump and two float switches in the engine bilge area. 1 float switch will be low on the bilge floor and the other float switch slightly higher with the bilge pump fastened to the hull.

2) Same setup but located in your aft cabin - in the 34PC it's in the center seat in the compartment under the seat where there is a little hatch that can be opened and you will see a high and low float switch and a bilge pump. If any of these items are not working the high water alarm will throw.

Mine were decades old so when it went off this last time I simply replaced them all so I wouldn't have to worry about it for another decade.

My 03 40PC has one in the forward cabin bilge compartment, near the bow thruster.

In a 41PC there is one in the engine bilge mounted just behind and about even with the top of the gray water box, and a second one above the cabin bilge pump just in front of the fresh water tank (under the bilge access hatch).
