Hull paint removal and gel coat repair

Having purchased a 310 SS in September, I decided this winter to return the hull to its original condition, removing the very low quality paint job done by the previous owner who clearly knew nothing about fibreglass, Imron or hulls. Tim Bohn in Port Richie Florida has been busy removing the mess that was there and returning the hull to as new a condition as possible. Not cheap but high quality work.

So they are removing bottom paint? Not Imron paint?

The hulls Imron looks to be in good shape.

its the bottom that they are doing

The Imron is OK. It has been properly cleaned and machine polished and now waxed. the area at and below the waterline is what has been stripped back, and now returned to as close to new as possible with attention paid to any previous repairs, scratches and poor filling jobs. Should look excellent again by the end of next week.

There are two or three small jobs still to be completed. I need two dials replaced, the electronics behind them have failed. New screws holding he dish in place. I have a new chain for the anchor and the want all of the tanks flushed out. An interior detail, a bilge detail / engine bay deep clean. May get my drives prepped as they are looking somewhat sea aged....and then ready for some spring adventures in March. Jan and Feb I find are mixed months for boating and it is a great time for servicing, repairs and improvements. Bimini top is also new. Other than gas the expenses are now finished.
