Impeller Change Procedure Kohler 7.3 in 2002 400SS Gas Engines

It's really a 5 minute job, AFTER you remove the Gen Battery that is right next to the water pump.
Just putting this here if it helps...

2002 Formula 400SS
(496 Mag HO)
Kohler 7.3kw Generator Impeller Change Procedure

Tools & Supplies Needed:
½” socket
7/16” socket
½” open end wrench
Needle Nose Pliers
Liquid Dish Soap
Dentist Pic
Rags

Procedure:
Remove Generator Battery
(2) ½” hold down nut removal
(1) ½” nut on vertical hold down rod from base
(1 each) ½” battery terminals POS & NEG
Lift up and remove Battery hold down top frame
Lift Battery over base lip and slide out
Close Generator Seacock
Remove (4) SS Plate Bolts 7/16”
Remove SS plate
Use Needle Nose Pliers to wiggle out the old Impeller
(observe direction the vanes are swept before removal)
Use Dentist Pic to remove old O-Ring
Coat new Impeller with dish soap
Collapse vanes in same direction as old Impeller and twist in until
flat spot on shaft lines up.
Push new Impeller all the way in
Insert new O-Ring
Replace SS Plate
Open Generator Seacock
Reinstall Battery
