Kenwood MP400MR no accessories work

Ok the head unit is new along with all the external control sources, so I'd like to keep the head unit. But for some reason I cannot get ANYTHING to work. No Sirus, no Ipod, no aux. The CD changer was removed. The cd player works in the unit and the radio works along with all the upgraded amps, etc. Before I tear into the head unit is there a way to see if the entire din switch was unplugged? I mean nothing seems to work. I started to look at the head unit and stopped, as I didn't want to break the side cover plates off being stupid and forceful on it. My plan like others is to add a din into the switch and use blutooth like the fusion model. Do I have to flip the 201A switch to N for this or just swap out the cd changer din? Ive downloaded the manuals for both the head unit and the switch. Not overly helpful. I checked it and the unit is set at O and on for AUX. But still nothing. ugh. My next test would be to hook up a 3.5 to rca directly into the aux to see if it was the cable. But with everything else not working.....Im thinking something else is not right. The ipod I used an Iphone, got nothing

Just get rid of that 10 year old technology and swap in a nice Fusion 755 like I did. Not worth messing around with it IMHO

Did the fusion 755 work with existing wired remotes? That’s why I don’t want to upgrade. Replacing wired remotes is a PITA.

no it doesn't work with the existing remotes...and yes running new remotes is a PITA, but it's totally worth it.

Why not just connect your phone to the AUX input at the dash and stream anything you want through that input? It works great for me.
