Kohler UU Code

Th Kohler 7.3 generator in my 34pc has always been unreliable, but now I can't get it to operate at all. Unfortunately Kohler is no help and neither are the "service" representatives in my area. The generator cranks and starts but immediately shuts off and shows a UU code. I just ordered a fuel bleeder tool as I understand that this particular code (meaning under voltage) most likely results from a fuel flow issue. Does anyone have any other ideas?

If your battery isn't charged to at least 11.5 volts you will get this code. Charge your battery and then check you impeller if you get the LOC code. The impeller takes 10 minutes to replace.

Thx Impeller was the first thing I checked. I will check battery. The gen set is cranking fine, however. The controller is shutting it down after it starts. But thanks - I will check.
