The "Bird" decal straight from Formula is $16/each (I bought mine 2 years ago from a dealer in Old Saybrook, CT, and they mailed them to me).

Whoops, sorry I just noticed you're looking for the script emblem, which is an actual metal emblem. Check eBay, many guys are making reproductions of a LOT of different emblems, out of plastic, chrome plated ;)

Hi, I just found this forum last night. I re-drew this logo for my 1970 17' runabout and cut it silver vinyl with a black border. A local sign shop with a vinyl plotter/cutter should be able to do this. I was going to machine this on my CNC router in aluminum but haven't gotten around to it yet. I also have access to a waterjet cutter and could cut them in polished stainless if there was additional interest. Anyway I can e-mail you the file as an .eps file if you'd like

tmac - I'd be interested to see your eps file for when I go to repaint my '73 Formula 233. I'd like to return it to the original logo, but it won't happen for another year or two. My e-mail is: jcraig@iconsportsusa.com thanks.

Long time since...

Pls send me some .eps file. It would be great.
I'll let you know when they are mounted on the boat.

Thanks

I have a badly coroded one in pieces that was on a formula jr. I have pieced it together and made a photo copy hoping that I could get one cut out of brass stock and chrome plated, but have not persued it as the boat is nowhere near ready,,my dad said the same size formula script was used on both models with the juniors getting a seperate Jr casting to follow,,,If anyone out there has a junior script intact enough I would like to have a paper tracing as I believe mine is missing a piece,,,If it would help I can mail you a photo copy of mine,,it may be a few days before I can check this post again,,,jr2

I had my local sign shop make them. They took my orignal plastic ones, and made a computer coppy,

I had two cnc cut out of aluminum from a machinest in mass area, perfect duplicate. I still have to chrome plate them, cost $75.00 each. let me know

I am also looking for the emblem for a 1970 17’ formula. Can anyone help me out? I prefer plastic or metal but would settle for any leads at this point.

Hi,

I redrew this and have it in .eps format and can email it to you. For my two boats I've cut this out of brushed "stainless" plastic engraving material for my 23' center console and did a brass version for my 17' runabout but have yet to get it chrome plated. I have a CNC router so I may be able to provide you with a finished product as well. The "stainless" material has held up well on my CC
