Mercruiser 4,2 LD "D254" in a Formula 31 PC -96

Has anyone heard of this setup in a Formula 31 PC?

Sens I'm re-power my 31PC from twin V8 "454" and Bravo Three to Merc 4,2 LD 220Hp 6 In-line Diesels whit the same Bravo Three outdrives

I'm very intrested in what type of preformanc and fuel consumption I can expect whit this setup.

I have try-ed to reece member "ajh" that had a 31PC whit KAD 42:s but no luck

Yes Ivan the D254 Diesels is working fine ;D

They have preformed well all summer but I need a new set of P 28 propellers for my Bravo Three outdrives to get a bit more speed.
Got more power than I expected from this old diesels. 27knots/31mph at cruising 3000rpm and 36knots/42mph at full throttle whit the tacometer running of the scale 4000rpm. 3600rpm is the max rpm for the D254 engine.
