Well I went and bought it. Drove up to Buffalo last weekend and inspected it and rescued it to a warmer climate. 1988 LS. Boat listed 650 hours on it but got a new Mercury 383 mpi mag stroker in the fall/winter 2017. Had all the paperwork for most of the maintenance. Two owner boat. Was serviced most of its life at excel marine. Drive looks to be original, trailer is titled as a 1983 and is pretty good shape for it's age. Was recently serviced a year or two as well with new brakes and a few other goodies. Transom and stringers are solid as a rock everywhere I could reach and check.

All the little plexiglass black panels are in good shape on the gunnel and the cabin doors. Overall I'm really happy with the condition considering it's only 3 years younger than I am.

Interior is in pretty good shape. Some tears need to be fixed and definitely some cleaning and elbow grease but nothing horrible. Sun deck is in really nice shape as well.

Looking forward to bringing her back to life and some restoration. The silent thunder platform has some cracks and ain't pretty on the back. I'll try and get a season or two out of it before making a decision on whether or not to yank it off and replace it with an aluminum one or not.

Building up my to do list and figuring out all the little projects. But looking forward to them.

I think it saw more salt on its drive home than it has its whole life . PXL_20220213_181155560.jpg
