painting volvo penta ips pods instead of using propspeed

had the dealer put prop speed on last year, been trying to take it off using a wire cup brush on the end of a drill, taking forever...

i want to use something other than prop speed like hydrocoat ultima on pods but was told i still have to use prop speed on the props..

any suggestions?
 
I have inboards and have used the following for several years with excellent results. I use Tri lux 33 white. Follow manufacturers prep work closely. with sanding or blasting , vinyl lux prewash, interproteck 2000/20001 then TriLux white. It is a lot of steps but it works and is save for all metals when done correctly. All products are by Interlux
