PlasDeck Cockpit Flooring

Does anyone have a best practice on how to clean the plasdeck cockpit flooring? Mine is dirty and has dark oils imbedded in the flooring in the heavy walk areas. So I want to clean all of the flooring evenly so as not to have any dark and light discoloring in the deck. Anyone has any suggestions?

Thanks Dave, I think I will pass on the grill brush as that seems aggressive to me.

By the way thanks for all of your help and advice on my new to me boat this year. Your experience has been very helpful to me as I am getting to know my new boat.

I have had good results with Soft Scrub with it without Bleach or Simple Green or any Cleaner of choice and white eraser sponges. The key is elbow grease, but it?s easy and it?s not as big of an area as you think once you get into it.

I find myself procrastinating for too long, and when I finally get around to doing it, wonder why I don?t do it more often. It?s amazing how much dirt, grime, and oils are picked up, no matter how careful you are.

I also will add a pressure washer to the above....start lower pressure then build up when you get confidence.

Got it I think my problem is procrastination as well.

I have just got to do it and stop thinking about it. It does not look like a good weekend this week but hopefully the next one will be better. I'm getting my "new to me new" boat list done so I will be ready for a good long season this year.
