I have had Garmin network, with weather and radar. I now have Raymarine network with radar and will get weather this summer.
my opinion GARMIN has a better GPS, Raymarine has a better Radar. Garmin i feel is better if you navigate in a river and you have a very tight winding channel. Garmin leaves a better bread crumb trail and seems to be more accurate then Raymarine. Ray did upgrade the tracking part of their software, but it still does not compare to the Garmim tracks. Ray takes a few points and then draws a straight line between them. Garmin keeps all the points. Ray has a setting that you can do the same as the Garmin, but you will only get about a mile out of the track memory.
The Garmin Raydar i feel is better overall. So if you dont need to have accurate tracks down to the 3 feet accuracy i would go with Raymarine.
