My new to me 48Y has a single fill system. I need to shock the tank, which I usually do with chlorine tablets, but won?t work in this case. What have you all been doing, and ideas to share?

On my 34 PC the water tank has a plug on top, I want to say 1.5", but I'm not sure. Remove the plug and you can vacuum out then treat as needed. If you don't have the plug, you can add liquid bleach to the fresh water hose the use the single point fill. I do this when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to take the mattress off the forward berth.

I actually make sure the hose is empty of water and use a funnel to fill the hose with bleach. On the fill end of the hose I screw on a cheap plastic shutoff valve and shut it off. This allows me to lower the hose and screw it on to the tap without loosing any bleach.
Not sure about the 48Y but I've got a 45Y and it's almost impossible to gravity feed water or bleach into the water system. I have a Ryobi fluid pump (https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Hybrid-Transfer-Pump-P750/300258095) that I've had success with for large amounts of liquid. I've also used a mixing fixture (not sure the real name) similar to what comes w/ Salt Away (https://www.saltaway.com/mixing-unit-sam) to add just a cup of bleach at the beginning of the season.
