I received the recall bulletin in the mail this week. I have contacted the dealer and we are coordinating the fix. Anyone else had this done yet?

What is the specific recall about?

The letter says something about a steering sensor. It's very cryptic, but that usually is the case for recall notices.
It only affects the boats with the newest joystick generation (that with all the buttons at the base of the joystick, versus the separate panel).

"Mercury Marine has identified a potential issue with the steering wheel sensor on your vessel. If left unattended, this issue could lead possibly to the drives steering unintentional." I have a work order but no date for a fix.
