I saw Formula is showing a model with 4 strapped to the transom.
Must be nice.
 
Hate to beat my own drum, but i have been suggesting the rotating gear case for years - thought it would be the best thing for outdrives - Where do all the problems with outdrives from - Bellows leaking destroying gimbal bearing and and u joints - all problems solved with rotating gear case. think my email was on my old PC, I am going to resurrect it and print it. I sent it to Volvo years ago. The only thing I could not figure was making the gear case being able to lift.
 
Are you thinking on an I/O?
These are outboards so the whole engine and GB swings up like normal, the difference is they dont pivot L-R on the transom to steer.
Its pretty interesting. Id be curious about the sealing method down at the rotating interface.

is the water pickup able to be on the non-rotating part?
I assume the exhaust is on the non-rotating part.

what's the bracing / steering look like? you're pushing 600 HP through that joint!

is no one going to mention the transmission?! faster planing!

how does it sync the transmission between engines? Does it need to?
Does it always shift at the same RPM?

Does the computer learn when to shift based on RPM/MPH/Load?

is there a torque converter anywhere? how big of a starter do you need for a V12?

does the raw water pump impeller still suck?

Is there any closed loop cooling in here or will the $77,000 just rust out in 5 years?

Will it alert me to low water pressure? Low oil level?
Bluetooth to my phone to record hours/RPM/maintenance.
