Volvo diesel outdrive on 400 SS

Any pros and cons on the Volvo outdrive matched up to the diesel on the 400SS. How is maintenance work to perform and painting with anti fouling hold up

SEADOC has this setup on a 34 pc and my understanding is that she loves it. Hoping she will chime in and give more info.
