Waxing the bow Deck?

Just bought a 1994 252ss, what should I use to "wax" the bow deck? I don't want it to be slippery since people will be walking up there/laying up there?

Is the bow deck non skid or pure gel coat on that model ?

so nearly any wax on the deck with gel coat will be super slippery

My local marina stocks it, I'll give it a go. Any tips on application?

Honestly I can't remember, but I think the bottle does a good job of explaining...remember though, it will still be slippery, just supposedly not as much as normal wax.
