Sound proof box ideas

Hey all, so on my 31pc the gen is open in the bilge and im wondering if i could enclose it in a sound proof box?

Thought on this.

Only issue i could think of would be over heating but its liquid cooled obviously so im

Most generator manufacturers make sound boxes for their respective models, this is always the best route. I have seen soft side ones made by Great Southern Insulation in Fort Lauderdale that work good. Here is a link http://stopthesound.com/generator-soundproofing/soft-generator-cover/

Always make sure the gen can breath regardless of what you do.
