    We did Sea Trial today, conditions were terrible, NE 20 knots wind, super choppy and trim tabs were not working (already fixed). We managed to do 54.1 mph. I will try again when conditions improve. Im sure I can improve top speed quite a bit considering how bad was the weather today.

    I don't lose an inch of the swim platform, the swim ladder, Armstrong SL3-34 goes in the port side, much comfortable than the original. Bracket was built by a local guy who builds for the Avanti boats brand, 30% cheaper than Stainless Marine. Sea trial tomorrow morning.

    engine bay cleaned, Saturday transom holes will be sealed, Monday for bracket installation, hopefully next wednesday installing twin Zukes 300. Very excited and a bit scared.

    Hello everybody, could someone please tell me what is the load capacity (people capacity) for a 2005 280ss? There should be a plate by the helm but I have looked thoroughly and nothing. I need to transport people back and forth an island and want to play it safe. Thanks

    1998 Merc 5.7 efi tbi sputter/hesitation under load

    Got twin 1998 Merc 5.7 efi tbi, starboard runs flawlessly but port engine when under load sputters, wants to die between 1800 to 2800 rpm, at 3000 rpm runs great. No water in fuel tank, filter, cleaned cap and rotor, checked for loose connections and issue still present. Any ideas? Thank you all.
