I just assumed 39 or 40 to be safe.

I had a 1995 34 PC with the 8.2 L gas engines. Wonderful 10 years...EXCELLENT POWER & Performance. 1000 miles per year, Yes ..drank gas like a college boy drinks beer! Enjoyed it. Note mine was a 34.

Where did you get the rings around the pedestal inserts?

I live 3 hours away but will ask my marine tech to look . But I feel certain that there is a backing plate even though difficult to reach.

Maybe threaded in incorrectly. I have all chain rode...Never a problem until once a marine tech decided to relocate how it was deployed. We corrected & never a problem since.

I have a 2005 37 PC. I have always covered the salon & aft cabin carpet with snap in custom made sunbrella. Have 2 of them and would alternate.. take one home to wash and put the other down. Really liked the soft feel and easy to keep clean, and was waterproof. Giving up for vinyl floor...
