looking for advise replaced 260 in f3 with 454 330 how much deeper will it sit in water? thanks MIKE

Probably not significantly. The F3 is a big boat. Did you change the drive also?

no its still alpha 1 motor is bone stock if everything works out and i need more power Ill look into a change . to go to a bravo does the transom plate have to be changed too? THANKS MIKE

If you change to Bravo the inner plate and transom assembly both have to be replaced. Also two more holes have to be drilled at the top of the opening in the hull. Bravo has two more mounting studs at the top above the steering arm. The two additional holes are the only change needed as far as hull modification.
