2005 370SS Replacement DVD Player

Has anyone had to replace the Blaupunkt DVD player on an 2005 370?

My wife wants to be able to watch a DVD on the boat (doesn't make sense to me but happy wife....) and the sound keeps cutting out. Turning the player off the back on works for a while before cuts out again.

Thinking of taking the opportunity to update the the whole TV/DVD/antenna setup. I've seen this done on PC's on the forum, but has anyone done this on an 370/400? Just trying to get some ideas before I look into this for myself.

I replaced mine with a +-24" flatscreen with wall mount attached to the cabinet that slides in/out that is just above the distribution panel. Got a small single DVD player that fit inside the sliding cabinet. Works great. When I bought the boat the old TV was removed so I don't know what it looked like before but mine is an 06 so probably similar to yours. I can take a pic if we go this weekend.

I was wondering if the cabinet would hold up to a bigger TV hanging off of it. I assumes yours has been OK? Love some pics if you have a chance.

Looking at the 2006 brochure, your original setup is the same as mine.

Thanks for the pics, this will probably be a future project.

For now I was able to hookup an old Roku box I wasn't using and tether it to my cell phone that has unlimited data. Worked way betther than I thought and may be my perminent solution.
