The survey on a Formula we have really wanted just came back (a 2005 SS 330) and it read:
“Although sounding of the hull, transom and cabin sole near midship revealed no indications of delaminations, moisture readings of transom were elevated. Meter reading of the cabin sole
Near midships were significantly elevated”.
The boat has been on a hoist since 2020. We’d be at a slip in fresh water 5-6 months outta the year.
We worry this boat may not be optimal for a slip or that we will be dealing with a lot of issues (more than an average boat owner) here shortly.
I’d like to hear what you think.
