2008 37 PC Transom Freshwater Fill Winterization Problem- HELP!

Greetings and thanks in advance for your help.

I am into the winterizing process on our 2008 37 PC. As earlier this boat only fill point for freshwater is thru the city water hose hookup on the back of the boat.
I am trying to pump Pink Antifreeze thru the city water hookup, up into the holding tanks and then back thru the freshwater pump then thru the entire water system (less the water heater).

Problem is I can't get the pump to push it into the water tank. We just used the city water to fill the tank less that a week ago and it worked great.
With the small pump I have, which is pumping, it just won't push it thru. It is just a small bilge pump which likely isn't used to working with much back pressure.

Is there an issue with the pressure regulator on the back of the boat and its not making enough pressure to open it?

I'm stumped.

I suspect the pump doesn't have enough pressure capacity. City water runs 40 - 60 PSI.

YOU ARE 100% correct. My little "cheapie" bilge pump I use on winterizing Sea Doo PWC's does not make any head pressure to push it thru.

Time to upgrade.

THANKS!

The hose on the other side of the fresh water connection comes right off. You just press in the plastic piece and pull it off, this way you can bypass the pressure regulator.

I have a one point water fill and I also have a deck plate on the bow that allows me to fill the water tank that way, if I so desire (which I never do, except when winterizing the fresh water system, lol).

I stand corrected then....
