2009 45 Yacht - Tommy Bahama Interior Fabric & Generator Concern

Good afternoon all,

Am a week or so away from purchasing a "new to me" 2009 45, so excited. Formula is such a great product and the people at the factory are truly there to assist.

The boat has the Tommy Bahama Caribbean Bay Decor and my bride want to replace the mattress covers and sham covers, anyone know a source for the fabrics. I'd bet Formula would prefer to sell the entire package versus pieces.

Will be keeping the boat "Cheers" in Fort Pierce, FL and will be spending time this summer in the Bahamas and Eastern Florida, then to the Keys for a month in Feb/March and up the West Coast of Florida next spring.

My email is robert_horan@sbcglobal.net if anyone is heading east this summer.

Thanks for your help in finding the fabric.

Bob

PS - The owners manual states that the generator should not be run while at high speed (which I assume is cruise) or you can damage the impeller. I assume they mean it could starve for raw water. Does anyone or has anyone had an issue with this, I have cockpit air conditioning and may want to use it on those very hot days.

Thanks for the response, would make good sense that the engineers knew the generator would be utilized at cruise speed. Have a great summer.

I've seen that in the manual, and never thought much of it, have run with it running always, no issues at cruise and WOT 5 to 10 minutes per hour of running time.
