That's a weekend we can make and are excited to be part of the Formula family.
Any raft up we ever had we required either a stern or bow anchor from each boat.
Had a raft up of 15 boats break loose at Fairlee, was really interesting for a bit.
 
Any thoughts on whether this will be a one day raft up or to include an overnight somewhere maybe at a marina?
 
What was the normal?
Im all about anchoring and am very comfortable for two nights.
Mears Great Oak Landing is the marina inside Fairlee Creek.
If anyone makes a distant run it should be a couple of days.

Blown284, since you've been to one of these (Evermore and myself are new to the Formula family) maybe you can give some insight on the previous one you went? Were meals and marina plans made or it just a basic raft up where everyone was pretty much responsible for themselves? Was there any local Formula dealer involvement?

The one I went to everyone fended for themselves for food, liquor , etc

Any further interest in getting together for August 25th and 26th?
Looks like it's just an informal get together.
We are planning to arrive Friday to try and get a good spot to anchor for the weekend.
We do run our generator all night for ac, fridges, and ice maker, some during the day to cook.
I also understand there's a powerboat club anchoring that weekend, would be great to mingle.
The generosity of the Atlantic City get together was great and I have a large Formula banner that will be on the antenna.
 
Are you staying in our area through the 25th and 26th?
Any place special you are planning to visit?
If needed I can pm my phone number to help with local information.
This coming weekend we have a commitment to help with Wounded Warriors so we will not be available.
 
I would like to come, but I don't think the boat will be in the water before this weekend. Still plugging awaying getting it seaworthy...
 
For those who can't make it we really appreciate the effort and totally understand the need for being prepared.
Looks like the weather at this point is going to be great.
For anyone coming not familiar with the entrance at Fairlee creek it can be interesting to say the least but once inside very well protected.
Best advice is to watch someone else entering or look at charts carefully.
There are no Starboard side markers, you run along the beach, then turn to enter the creek and stay close to the east beach as you enter the opening.
I'm planning on monitoring channel 69 and boat name is Evermore (big surprise right).
We are also bringing our dink to transport to the beach.
Please bring food and favorite beverages for yourself.

We have an event at our marina Saturday night but will come over tomorrow and stay until at least late Saturday to get together
we normally commuunicate on 69
