Trying to figure out the difference in performance and ride between these two boats. I know the 233 is hard to beat when it comes to the ride in a heavy chop or in 4' to 5' seas. There not much in its class that can compete. The 242 SF I have been considering, but do not have any glue on how the ride or handle next to the 233.
I know the 233 has a 24 degree deadrise and 38" draft. Some people claim the 242 has a 24 degree also but has a 32" draft.
Any help would be appreciated.
