271 where to add speakers

Well I'm back after a two year break from my 242ss I just picked up a 04 271...I want to add speakers to the rear so b4 I cut I figured I would learn first where best to place them and where not to put them... any suggestions?
 
love it but i ain't familiar with you boat so best not to comment. if it has a bench rear seat maybe you could put'em in the base of it.
 
Yeah it does but I like to store to much junk in there...I have to put them on the side I think behind the bolsters... it will work
 
Right above the cup holder/step plate behind the grab handle. You'll have to modify the remove the trim pieces that are there but it's simple enough and if you do it right will not need to purchase any additional materials. After making making the cut just re-wrap the piece with vinyl that was on it. Shoudl give it a nice clean custom factory look.
