330 and the Fusion radio.....UGH

So has anyone mounted a fusion radio in a 330..? I have an 02 model so no diff than the rest. However I quickly realised that the 755 faceplate will not fit in the stock location. The thought of cutting this boat up does not excite me at all. I've noticed some have mounted them in the cabinet so to speak by the air conditioning controls but next to the door to the head, only issue with this is its on the other side of the boat and all the wiring would be a PITA. My other though was maybe on the forward side of the cabinet that houses the switch panel and fridge, I thought maybe at the top then all the wiring would be in the same general area...?
 
Interesting - I had no problem installing a 755 in both an 08 34PC and 07 40PC,in fact it was a perfect fit. The 770 was too small and would need an adapter plate. I guess the 02 330 doesn't have the same Kenwood head unit?

Yeah that is a different model. Have you looked into the 770?
