Hello all - I'm new to this Forum and need some assistance - I am considering adding an extended swim platform to my 2004 330ss, 496 Engines and Generator AND Captains Call diverter system. the platform is an overlay system that would add 22" to the existing standard platform. Talking to Formula and Mecr and mechanic - they all have concerns about the riser height to waterline measurements. I have perhaps 1 inch of available height clearance to hatch for increased height. Does anyone know of similar boat who added the extended platform aftermarket? Formula said when they installed extended platform on new boat they used a CORSA modified riser / elbow that was 1" higher (3" riser rather than standard MERC 2") - Also I heard if I do change the riser to add that 1 more inch, I wont be able to keep the Captains Call feature. Should I be concerned about water ingestion at anchor or is everyone overly cautious? I would greatly appreciate any experience with some or all of these issues. THANKS - BlackJack!
