37 PC Cockpit Ice Changed to Refrigerator

My friend wanted to remove his ice maker and install a fridge. After some conversations with Formula, he found out that they use Isotherm. I snapped a picture of the model number.

Overall, it was a lot of measuring and a little cutting but since we wanted it to be right, the job took about 8 hours. You can see that the outlet must be relocated for 110v but since this unit is a 12/24v switching unit, we also had to run that. Formula was nice enough to leave that in the loom so we didn't have to run it. Just install a breaker and run with it.

Let me know if you have any questions and I will try my best to answer them.

@joelc73 I did the same thing on my 34PC. When you open the cabinet just to the left, there should be a breaker panel as well as you house battery switch. In my panel, there was already a breaker spot for the fridge. I bought a breaker (don't remember the amperage), wired it into the panel and ran +12v to that. For my ground, I ran it directly to the battery negative terminal because I could not find a good ground in the area (note: a bonding lug is not a good source of ground).

Also - you do not need to cutout the panel behind the fridge to make it fit unless you want the fridge recessed. I created a small frame out of PVC boards and my fridge is flush with the front edge of the counter above.

That sounds great. Do you have a pic of the PVC frame?

Super helpful. I very much appreciate it!
